How Do Machines Peel Garlic?
The garlic skin is tough and has strong adhesion. Manual peeling is not only time-consuming and labor-intensive, but also prone to loss. Therefore, more and more processing plants choose to use machine to improve the efficiency of peeling. But how do machines peel garlic? Different types of garlic peeling machines use different peeling methods. This article will focus on two common types.
1. Batch Garlic Peeling Machine
This is an earlier developed peeling equipment suitable for small and medium-sized processing sites. It is mainly based on pneumatic peeling technology. The garlic is sent into a closed peeling bin, and a high-pressure airflow is formed inside the equipment in a short time. When the compressed air quickly hits the garlic cloves in the peeling bin, the garlic skin will separate from the garlic cloves due to the sudden change in external pressure. The garlic skin and garlic cloves are then separated by the air separation device, and the garlic cloves are discharged from the discharge port, while the garlic skin is discharged through another air duct.
Features:
Suitable for small and medium batch processing, with a processing capacity of up to dozens of kilograms at a time.
It belongs to intermittent production.
2. Chain Garlic Peeling Machine
This is a machine suitable for large-scale industrial production. It uses chain conveying + pneumatic peeling to connect multiple processing links in series to achieve uninterrupted peeling operations. The garlic first enters the peeling bin inside the equipment through the chain conveying system, and is simultaneously impacted by high-pressure airflow during transportation to cause the garlic skin to fall off. Due to the continuous movement of the chain, the garlic cloves are continuously peeled during the forward process, thereby greatly increasing the yield.
Features:
Suitable for large processing plants, with a daily output of several tons.
Continuous operation, saving manpower and time.
Stable peeling efficiency and strong adaptability.
